Mayor Of Houston Says City Will Open A New Theme Park Thanks To Travis Scott

The rap star received a key to the city and some big news from the Mayor last night.

(AllHipHop News) Travis Scott's "Astroworld" tour has inspired the city of Houston to re-open a theme park.

The rapper's tour is named after the famed Astroworld amusement park, which closed down in October of 2005.

During Travis' stop in his hometown of Houston, Mayor Sylvester Turner bestowed Key to the City on the rapper during the concert.

"With 'Astroworld,' man, and those of us that remember Astroworld, and because of him, we're gonna bring another amusement theme park back to the city. This city loves you," the Mayor said.
