Meek Mill Explains Why He Deleted His Instagram Account

The Philly spitter is tired of the "capping."

(AllHipHop News) Social media can be a powerful promotional tool, but it can also be a cesspool of negativity. Several celebrities have turned away from Instagram. Meek Mill is the latest entertainer to drop the IG app.

While the Gram is currently without the Philadelphia-raised emcee, Meek is still active on Twitter. He tweeted on Saturday afternoon, "No social media .... all real life!"

The next day, a Twitter user told Meek that Instagram was boring without him. The "Uptown Vibes" rhymer replied, "I’m on real life vibes right now... lol. I be tired of seeing all that capping sometimes 😂."

It's not clear if the Dreamchasers leader is done with Instagram permanently or if this is just a temporary hiatus. According to Social Blade, Meek had more than 16 million followers and averaged around 410,000 likes per post.

He deleted it so you can talk about it and get more requests with people begging him to come back. I give him 3 days.
