Meek Mill Explains Why He's Staying Out Of The Cardi B Versus Nicki Minaj Beef

"No emotions with this rap sh-t."

(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill is just hours away from dropping his fourth studio album Championships. His new interview with Ebro Darden for Beats 1 is set to run later today too.

In a preview of the conversation, Meek was asked about working with his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj's rival Cardi B. The MMG representative also gave an update on where he and Minaj stand at the moment.

"Yeah, [Nicki's] good. But I feel like Cardi B is the upcoming new from New York," said Meek. "I represent what the young n*ggas of the East Coast dream of. That's the same thing I dream of and represent. Why wouldn't I have a song with Cardi?"

He added, "I'm on some straight positive, get money, doing what I need to do the way I need to do it, no emotions with this rap sh*t. If this is going on, that's going on. I don't got nothing to do with that. That's girl sh*t going on over here. I'm coming over here to get this money. This Meek Mill and this Bardi is going to be a movie. If it had to be me and Nicki to get some money, that's what it's going to be to get some money."

Championships is scheduled for release on November 30. Meek's full sit down with Ebro Darden airs November 29 at 4:00 pm ET/1:00 pm PT on Apple Music.
