Meek Mill's 'Championships' Debuts At No. 1, Earns First Top 10 Song On Hot 100

Three of his records debut in the Top 40.

(AllHipHop News) Early predictions had Championships by Meek Mill collecting around 183,000 - 190,000 equivalent album units. When the final numbers came in, the Philadelphia emcee exceeded those projections.

Championships raked up 229,000 first-week units. This gives Meek his second #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart following 2015's Dreams Worth More Than Money.

The Atlantic recording artist also saw success on the Hot 100. He earned his first Top 10 record on that chart when "Going Bad" featuring Drake opened at #6.

In addition, Meek scored two other Top 40 Hot 100 debuts off of Championships this week. "What's Free" with Rick Ross and Jay-Z came in at #20. "On Me" featuring Cardi B landed at #30.
