Meek Mill Shares Text Message Drake Sent After 'Championships' Album Dropped

Tidal streams the 'CRWN' conversation with the "Going Bad" spitter.

(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill and Drake came full circle in 2018. Before the two rap stars engaged in one of the most talked about beefs in Hip Hop history, they teamed up on songs likes "R.I.C.O." and "Amen."

Drizzy collaborated with Meek again on the latter's new critically-acclaimed album Championships. Elliott Wilson caught up with the Dreamchaser for the latest episode of CRWN, and Meek recalled a recent text message he received from his former foe which shows the state of their relationship post-battle.

"Even Drake texted me last night. I don't even remember the bar. He said something about, 'I just looked at my drawer, and seen all these Nike headbands. It made me think about the time when you came at me about my headbands. I'll never wear these headbands again,'" Meek told the Tidal audience.

The Philadelphia native went on to share an amusing story about Jay-Z accidentally playing Drake's diss record "Back To Back" during a double date with Jay and his wife Beyoncé and Meek Mill and his then-girlfriend Nicki Minaj. CRWN also featured Meek discussing his new album, changing his life, and more.
