"Those memories stay with me and thats why Im committed to giving back to families in my hometown, putting smiles on kids faces and helping them start the school year on the right note with the right supplies," said Meek.

Besides backpacks, the students will also receive numerous school supplies. The "Millidelphia" emcee may also make an appearance in Philly to deliver the items.

Meek has been using his association with Puma to uplift the community. Earlier this year, the artist and the company released the "#REFORM // Look Forward" commercial.
