Megan Thee Stallion Announces Hype Williams-Directed 'Fever Thee Movie'

The "Big Ole Freak" performer linked with DaBaby and Juicy J for the film.

(AllHipHop News) The head coach of "Hot Girl Summer" is ready to put up more points on the board in the ongoing Hot Girls/City Girls versus Hot Boys/City Boys match-up taking place on social media. Hot Girl Meg wrote in the caption of a recent Instagram post, "Megan Thee Stallion X Hype Williams FEVER thee MOVIE coming soon."

The IG upload serves as a teaser for new visuals connected to Meg's Fever mixtape. Her "Cash Sh*t" collaborator DaBaby and "Simon Says" collaborator Juicy J show up in the trailer. It appears Megan and legendary video director Hype Williams drew inspiration from Blaxploitation and Kung Fu motion pictures from the 1970s.

Fever debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 album chart with 28,000 album-equivalent units. The project received rave reviews from music critics. In addition, Thee Stallion is one of seven female rappers to chart on Billboard's Hot 100 in 2019 which is a record for the 2010s decade.

Megan will also help keep the summer hot by performing at Lil Wayne's Lil Weezyana Fest and Jay-Z's Made In America. Both upcoming festivals will stream live on the Tidal entertainment platform. She's also hitting the road with Meek Mill and Future for the "Legendary Nights Tour."
