Metro Boomin & 21 Savage Announce 'Savage Mode 2' Is On The Way

Are you ready for another joint project from Young Metro and the Slaughter King?

(AllHipHop News) Metro Boomin's famous tags have not been heard on as many songs in 2019 as previous years, but the St. Louis native is still putting in work behind the boards. Recently, Metro came out for 21 Savage's tour stop in Los Angeles, and the producer-rapper duo made some news.

"Savage Mode 2 on the motherf*cking way!" Metro told the crowd. The original Savage Mode EP is widely seen as 21's breakout body of work. Tracks such as "No Heart" and "X" featuring Future helped establish Savage Mode as one of the most well-received Hip Hop projects of 2016.

Metro went on to release the collaborative projects Without Warning with Offset and 21 Savage, Double or Nothing with Big Sean, and Perfect Timing with NAV. He also led his own Not All Heroes Wear Capes LP which opened at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

21 Savage has released 2017's Issa Album and 2018's I Am > I Was. The Atlanta-raised rap star scored Top 20 hits and platinum plaques with "Bank Account" and "A Lot" featuring J. Cole. 21's "Don't Come Out the House" off Not All Heroes Wear Capes became a trending topic because of his whisper delivery.
