Metro Boomin Earns First #1 On Billboard 200 With 'Not All Heroes Wear Capes'

Takeoff soars into the Top 5 with his solo project.

(AllHipHop News) "What a time to be a producer," tweeted Metro Boomin on Monday night. The Trap music star has reason to celebrate.

Metro's Not All Heroes Wear Capes album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 99,000 first-week units. This gives the Boominati label head his first leader on the album chart.

He previously broke into the Top 10 when Without Warning with Offset and 21 Savage peaked at #4 and Double or Nothing with Big Sean reached #6. Not All Heroes features appearances by 21, Offset, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Swae Lee, Drake, and more.

Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, Migos member Takeoff's solo effort, The Last Rocket, landed at #4. The Atlanta-bred rapper brought in 49,000 units in the project's first week of release.
