(AllHipHop News) This week, Cardi B achieved a feat not seen since 1998. The Bronx rapper's "Bodak Yellow" became the first solo song by a female rapper to reach #1 on the Hot 100 since Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)."
Cardi's major achievement was met with widespread congratulations from the Hip Hop community. In particular, other female rap stars took to social media to show love to the former Love & Hip Hop star.
Missy Elliott tweeted, "Congratulations [Cardi B] for having a #1 record in the country that's not as easy as it seem this huge. May u have continued blessings."
"Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement. Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it," wrote Nicki Minaj.
On Instagram, Lil Kim posted, "Congratulations to my baby cakes [Cardi B] I always knew this day would come and I am so happy and proud of U! Keep killin it baby! U deserve every bit of it."

Cardi responded to all the love from her fellow rapstresses by posting, "Every single FEMALE RAPPER CONGRATULATED ME TODAY. [It's] the best feeling cause I listened to ALL OF THEM."
