Murs Breaks 24-Hour Rap Marathon World Record

THE L.A. EMCEE ACHIEVES HIS GOAL

(AllHipHop News) Los Angeles-based emcee Murs was able to set a new record for a 24-hour rap marathon.

The live-streamed event began on Wednesday at 9 am PT and ran until the following morning.

Murs attempted the feat as part of the conclusion to his Where You At? L.A. online show, produced in conjunction with Boost Mobile.

The opening season of the series included performances and interviews from Dame Dash, YG, Casey Veggies, Tha Dogg Pound, Chef Roy Choi, B-Real, DJ Quik, W.C., Mike G of Odd Future, Problem and J-Boog.

Boost Mobile broadcasted Where You At? L.A. via the company's social media page as a way to promote the recent launch of Unlimited Music Streaming with no data charges.
