Nas And Mary J. Blige Team Up To Help The Music Community In Baltimore

The pair are helping Baltimore, which has been getting some negative headlines thanks to the POTUS.

(AllHipHop News) Nas and Mary J. Blige are teaming up to do some good in the city of Baltimore, which has been in the headlines over comments made by President Donald Trump.

The President trashed House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings and the city of Baltimore during one of his infamous Twitter tirades.

He labeled the city a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess" and a "dangerous & filthy place." The Prez even taunted Rep. Cummings after his house was robbed earlier in the month.

The back and forth has sparked outrage, as well as a dialog on the conditions in Baltimore, and Rep. Cummings has even offered to host President Trump on a tour of the 7th district, which he represents.

Politics aside, Nas and Mary J. are going to look out for the city's residents during a stop on their nationwide outing, "The Royalty Tour."

The two legends have agreed to donate a portion of the show's proceeds to support the music programs at the Liberty Rec and Tech Center.

Nas and Mary J. Blige will be roaring into Baltimore on August 29th at Royal Farms Arena.
