Nas Discusses The Notorious B.I.G.'s Legacy

Watch one Hip Hop legend reflect on the cultural impact of another Hip Hop legend.

(AllHipHop News) Last night, the A&E network aired the Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G. documentary. The program features interviews with Voletta Wallace, Faith Evans, Lil Cease, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jay-Z, Nas, and more.

In one section of the doc, Nas reflects on Biggie's legacy. The fellow New York City spitter said, "Biggie had his foot on everybody's neck, from a music standpoint. We needed him, and he had the game in a chokehold."

Nas went on to compare the Hip Hop legend born Christopher Wallace to cultural icons such as Stanley Kubrick, Langston Hughes, and Donald Goines.

"I just wish we had a chance to hear more from him. I wish I could just give him a dap," added Nas. "He's one of those minds that you want to get to know."
