(AllHipHop News) Rapper Nas is bringing his chicken and waffles restaurant chain to his hometown of Queens, New York.
Sweet Chick has locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, New York, and Los Angeles and the new location will open in February.
"Since partnering with Sweet Chick I've always wanted to take it back to my roots, and now it's finally happening with the Long Island City store. That's where I️ grew up," he told Billboard. The location will also feature a jazz-themed dining room to honor Nas' father Olu Dara.
"We are also paying respect to my father, who's a now retired jazz artist, with a private dining room inspired by jazz clubs where chicken and waffles were born," the rap star adds.
