(AllHipHop News) Rap star Nas is betting he can help podcasters make money with his latest investment.
The rapper is among a group of investors backing a new company called Glow, which just raised $2.3 million dollars.
According to the company, they have created technology to provide a “frictionless way to charge for and distribute premium podcast content that your listeners can hear on any app.”
According to TechCrunch, the company hopes to help podcasters develop sustainable businesses from their craft.
The company was founded by CEO Amira Valliani and Chief Product Officer Brian Elieson.
They raised money to fuel their growth from a variety of partners, including Nas, Greycroft, Norwest Venture Partners and others.
Through his QueensBridge Venture Partners fund, Nas has invested in companies like PlutoTV, Ring, PillPack, Casper and hundreds of other technology businesses.
