(AllHipHop News) For many Hip Hop followers, Nas first became an emcee to watch thanks to his verse on Main Source's "Live At The Barbeque" in 1991. Twenty-five years later, the rap icon is borrowing the song's title for a new SummerStage concert in New York City.
Nas' Mass Appeal is partnering with WeWork to present the "Live At The BBQ" event in Central Park. The Queens native will also be on hand to serve as host along with Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez.
Ty Dolla $ign, DJ Shadow, Danny Brown, Mannie Fresh, Fashawn, Black Thought, and Machine Gun Kelly are among the acts listed as performers. In addition, fried chicken and southern BBQ will be available via Sweet Chick.
"Live At The BBQ" is scheduled for July 25th. To purchase tickets visit here.
