Nelly is not out of the clear when it comes to the rape allegations he is facing in Washington.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Nelly may have breathed a sigh of relief when his alleged rape accuser decided she would not testify against him earlier this week.

But the Saint Louis rapper is not in the clear yet, according to Auburn, Washington police.

Even though his accuser said she was traumatized by the media coverage and is not coming forward to testify against the rapper, police are still going to continue with their investigation.

"We will continue to investigate thoroughly, we will follow every available lead and we will present our findings to prosecutors,” said Auburn Police Commander Mike Hirman.

While Nelly has steadily denied that he raped a woman on his tour bus in Richfield, Washington on October 7, he caught the break yesterday (October 13).

The accuser came forward in a letter via her attorney, claiming she would not to indicate Nelly in the rape, due to the attention the case has garnered.
