Netflix Releases The Trailer For 'ReMastered: Who Killed Jam Master Jay?'

The investigative series is taking a look at what happened on October 30, 2002.

(AllHipHop News) Jam Master Jay was an instrumental part of the iconic rap group Run-DMC. The deejay born Jason Mizell also played a role in helping to break artists such as 50 Cent and Onyx through his Jam Master Jay Records label.

Mizell's life was unfortunately cut short at the age of 37 when the Brooklyn-born Hip Hop legend was shot and killed in 2002. His murder is still unsolved.

Netflix is now presenting a documentary that will explore the death of JMJ. The upcoming Brian Oakes-directed episode of ReMastered contains commentary about what happened that tragic day in a Jamaica, Queens recording studio.

ReMastered: Who Killed Jam Master Jay launches December 7 on Netflix. The monthly "8 track" docu-series also investigates high-profile events connected to Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, Sam Cooke, Victor Jara, The Miami Showband, Robert Johnson, and Solomon Linda.
