New Chapter: Marcus Cooper of Pretty Ricky Releases "I Love Girls"

AllHipHop Staff

In his first official single since 2009's Under, former Pretty Ricky front man Marcus Cooper has released a video from his upcoming sophomore debut titled "I Lovee Girls".

The original, which features YMCMB rapper Tyga, finds the two dishing on the types of women they both enjoy dating. This is the first, official single from his self-titled sophomore album.

In 2009, Cooper was threatened with the release of documents accusing the singer of molestation. Cooper was never charged, and the case has since disappeared from public enlightenment. Since then, he has been quietly releasing music; however, none ever led to an album or mixtape release.

In 2010, Cooper earned three Grammy nominations for his debut album The Introduction of Marcus Cooper, including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album.
