New "Femme It Forward" Concert Series Launches With Big Name Female Rap Stars

Cardi B., City Girls, Faith, Lil Mo, Brandy are going out on a tour centered on the ladies.

(AllHipHop News) A new concert series is launching to put a spotlight on some of the most talented female rap stars and singers.

The "Femme It Forward" series is a "multi-format" tour running throughout the rest of the year showcasing the power of women in the entertainment business.

The tour will feature panel discussions, comedy shows, in addition to the performances.

Heavyweight rappers like Cardi B., Teyana Taylor, Faith Evans, City Girls, Jorja Smith, Jill Scott, Lil Mo, Mya, Ashanti, Monica, Brandy, Tweet and Ari Lennox are among the big names featured during the "Femme It Forward' outing.

The new series is being produced by Live Nation Urban, which was launched by Live Nation in 2017.

“This past year has been an exceptional one for women in music and entertainment, and with the incredible contributions of women, it is fitting that we honor the future of music and its continued steps on the path to inclusion,” said Heather Lowery, Live Nation Urban VP of Talent & Touring.

Heavyweight rappers like Cardi B? LMAO Ain’t nothing heavy about Cardi B. She was made, created. Has nothing to do with talent. She made it during the Trump era, a time when wrong is right, good is bad and bad is great. We will look back at these days and wonder what we were thinking. BTW I thought that pic was 3 trannies


No Rapsody? Damn. Also it's funny how some people say don't call them female rappers but when it's time to put a tour like this together it's OK. It's not degrading to be called a female MC.
