(AllHipHop News) Part-time rapper Nick Cannon is adding another hosting gig to his list of jobs. Cannon already controls the reigns of Wild 'N Out, The Masked Singer, and Cannon's Class. He will now temporarily sit in the "purple chair."
Deadline reports Cannon is set to be a guest host for The Wendy Williams Show. Williams has taken a leave of absence in order to recover from personal health issues.
Nick Cannon will begin his stint as host on Monday, February 4. He is expected to appear on the syndicated daytime talk show through Wednesday, February 6. Fans will still get to see the regular segments "Hot Topics," "Ask Wendy," and celebrity interviews.
Wendy's return from her television hiatus was pushed back several times. Actor Jerry O'Connell served as the program's first-ever guest host in 2018 after Williams was ordered to take a break to focus on her hyperthyroidism and Graves’ disease.
"We wholeheartedly support Wendy in this decision to take the time she needs, and we will welcome her back with open arms the moment she is ready," stated the show's distributor and producer Debmar-Mercury.
