(AllHipHop News) Nicki Minaj excited her Barbz when she announced her fourth studio album would arrive on June 15. However, the New Yorker later decided to move the date to August 10.
Last night, Minaj told her Twitter followers that she may push Queen back yet again. This time the delay appears to be over a sample that needs to be cleared.
Nicki tweeted (before being deleted):
So there’s a record on #Queen that features 1of the greatest rappers of all time. Had no clue it sampled the legend #TracyChapman - do I keep my date & lose the record? Or do I lose the record & keep my date? 🤦🏽♀️ do we push #Queen back 1week? Ugh! I’m torn, y’all help🙏🏽😔
The "Chun-Li" rapper returned to the social media platform to ask her fans to vote on whether she should move the date back to the 17th. If Nicki does push the project back, that would put Queen in direct competition with the release of her "Bed" collaborator Ariana Grande's Sweetener.
