Nicki Minaj Goes After Her Former Stylist In Lawsuit Over "Borrowed" Clothing

Nicki denies she stole clothes from her former stylist in a counter-claim.

(AllHipHop News) Rap superstar Nicki Minaj is fighting back against a former stylist who accused her of holding on to clothing she borrowed last year.

Nicki was sued by Maher Jridi in October when he claimed he had been stuck with a bill of almost $74,000 from his suppliers because designer items he had rented for Nicki to choose her outfits from for a series of events in 2017, including Paris Fashion Week in France, were not returned.

The Frenchman wanted Nicki to cover the cost of the invoice, but now she has responded, denying the accusations and asking the judge overseeing the case to throw out the suit, according.

She has also launched her own legal action against Jridi, arguing that she overpaid him for his services.

The fashion guru reportedly acknowledged the miscalculation and vowed to return the funds in a series of emails, but he is accused of keeping the extra $12,000 in cash.

Nicki Minaj is countersuing for the return of the funds, in addition to legal fees.
