Nipsey Hussle Casket Takes 25-Mile "Victory Lap" Through South Los Angeles

R.I.P to Nipsey Hussle, who was laid to rest today by his friends, family, and fans.

(AllHipHop News) Most of the major streets in South Los Angeles were closed today (April 11) following the final services for rapper Nipsey Hussle.

The rap star was remembered in a touching ceremony today at The Staples Center, where 21,000 of his fans gathered for "The Celebration Of Life."

Celebs like Snoop Dogg, YG and DJ Mustard and even Barack Obama (via a letter) paid tribute to Nipsey, who was shot and killed in Los Angeles on March 31.

A silver hearse with Nipsey's body left The Staples Center, and started at West Adams Boulevard and Vermont Avenue.

The casket then went south down Vermont and on to Century Boulevard to pass through Inglewood as tens of thousands of people lined the streets.

The caravan passed Nipsey's Marathon clothing store at Crenshaw and Slauson, which was recently renamed Ermias "Nipsey Hussle" Asghedom Square.

The procession came to an end at the Angelus Funeral Home, where friends and families gathered for a private ceremony.

From there, Nipsey's body will be headed to its final resting place, at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
