(AllHipHop News) The Los Angeles man suspected of killing Nipsey Hussle (born Ermias Asghedom) entered a not guilty plea in court on Thursday. Eric Holder, 29, was charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
Defense attorney Christopher Darden is representing Holder. Darden was on the prosecution team that lost the infamous 1995 murder case against O.J. Simpson.
If convicted, Holder faces a maximum sentence of life in state prison. He is being held on $5 million bail and is expected to return to court on May 10.
Nipsey Hussle was shot outside his Marathon Clothing store on March 31. The Grammy-nominated rapper was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. He was 33 years old. Two other individuals, Kerry Lathan and Shermi Villanueva, were also wounded in the shooting.
