Offset Speaks On Cardi B's Conversation With Democratic Candidate Bernie Sanders

The "Clout" rhymer abdicates to his wife.

(AllHipHop News) Belcalis Almánzar went from an exotic dancer to a social media star to a reality show cast member to a Grammy-winning rapper to a political influencer. The Bronx-born entertainer better known as Cardi B recently interviewed Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders after she publicly addressed policies of the United States government for years.

During the discussion at Detroit's The Ten Nail Bar, Bernie and Cardi talked about police brutality, immigration, health insurance, student loan debt, and more issues. The video was picked up by the Washington Post, Politico, Huffington Post, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and other mainstream media outlets.

TMZ covered the Hip Hop-meets-politics conversation from a different perspective. The celebrity news website caught up with Offset to get his opinion on Cardi advocating for the Senator from Vermont.

"I'm riding with my wife, whatever she do," expressed Offset. When asked if he is opened to interviewing Sanders, the Migos member said, "Nah, I should leave that up to my wife." Besides backing his spouse, Set also contributed to Quality Control Music's Quality Control: Control The Streets Volume 2 compilation album that came out today (August 16).
