Parents Deny Encouraging Kids To Have Sex With R. Kelly

The parents of two alleged "victims" of R. Kelly are addressing the daughters' interviews with Gayle King.

(AllHipHop News) The parents of the two women who have allegedly been brainwashed by singer R. Kelly are not backing down from the singer in an attempt to get their daughters back.

Azrial Clary and Joycelyn Savage admitted they met R. Kelly when they were just 17-years-old. They both started dating the singer shortly after meeting him at one of his shows.

The Clary's and the Savage's claim they haven't seen their children for years, and they think R. Kelly is physically and psychologically abusing the girls and holding them as captives.

The accusations were the subject of an explosive docu-series on lifetime called "Surviving R. Kelly," where several of his past victims gave an inside look into the singer's sadistic behavior patterns.

The show sparked investigations in Georgia and Illinois and helped led to 10 felony charges of sexual abuse against three minors and another woman.

The singer is also facing a federal probe over several new sex tapes allegedly depicting the singer having graphic sex with a 14-year-old.

Joycelyn also sat down with Gayle King and said her parents were simply trying to wrangle money out of R. Kelly - who has admitted he is broke.

Joycelyn also disputed reports she even wanted to pursue a singing career. She said she is happy being in a relationship with R. Kelly and the other girlfriend in question, Azriel Clary.

"My parents started this whole situation. Trying to get money. Especially, my dad, he's the master of this whole situation," Joycelyn said.

Azriel Clary's parents have the same issues with R. Kelly as the Savages. They claim their daughter has been brainwashed by the 52-year-old singer and being held against their will.

Azriel says she never had underage sex with R. Kelly and maintains her parents encouraged her to blackmail him by taking sexually explicit pictures to blackmail him.

"When I first met Robert, my parents told me to lie about my age. So when I met him, he thought that I was 18. On top of that, when I was 17, my parents were actually making me, trying to get me to take photos with him, take sexual videos with him, all kinds of stuff. They said because if they ever have to blackmail him, what they’re trying to do now, they can use it against him, which is exactly what they’re doing.”

Azriel Clary’s parents Alice and Angelo released a statement via their lawyer Michael Avenatti.

The said their daughter “is presently suffering from years of mental abuse and manipulation by R. Kelly,” as they denied the allegations made against them."

Timothy Savage echoed the Clary's statement. He said he does not understand why Joycelyn would think he was after money, which he said was never the issue.

"I have no clue what my daughter [is talking about]" Timothy Savage said. "She's brainwashed."
