(AllHipHop News) The parents of Joycelyn Savage held a press conference earlier today, to respond to Gayle King's explosive interview with R. Kelly.
R. Kelly is facing 10 felony charges for alleging abusing underage girls and another woman, between the years of 1998 and 2010.
The charges came after years of claims he was running a "sex cult" and holding women against their will as his personal slaves, who follow his every command or else they get beat.
He's also the subject of an investigation over several new sex tapes, which allegedly show R. Kelly having intimate sex with a 14-year-old.
Earlier today, R. Kelly broke his silence in a disturbing interview with Gayle King, where he denied all of the charges.
He even accused the Joycelyn Savage's parents of "selling" their daughter to him when she was 17-years-old, when R. Kelly picked her out of a crowd and brought her on stage, because she wanted to pursue her own career in music.
Instead, the Savage's maintain R. Kelly, who admitted he is now in a relationship Joycelyn who is now 21-year-old, brainwashed their daughter and have prevented her family from having any contact with her.
In an interview slated to air on Friday, both Azriel Clary Joycelyn Savage denied all of the allegations and Clary claimed the meddling parents were only after money.
"The allegations Mr. Kelly have brought against my family is horrific...we are a solid family, we care about our daughter. From day one the only thing we wanted to do was see our daughter, hear from our daughter and make sure she is fine," Timothy Savage said during a press conference.
Joycelyn's mother Jonjelyn offered a heartfelt message to her daughter, whom she has not seen for years.
"Please know that I love you. I'm your mother, I love you dearly. Nothing that we've done was to defame you or to embarrass you, it's because we care about your well-being," We went from seeing you or talking to you daily, or weekly, to not seeing you in two years. So that is a clear indication to us and as a mother that something is defintely wrong with this situation. And we will not stop until til we have our answers."
