Pharrell And Pusha T Offer Thoughts And Prayers To Victims Of Massacre In VA

The rap stars have weighed in on a shocking tragedy in their hometown.

(AllHipHop News) Virginia Beach natives Pharrell and Pusha T are among the artists offering up their condolences after a violent shooting in Virginia Beach.

According to investigators, a gunman named DeWayne Craddock went on a shooting spree and killed 12 people during his deadly rampage at a municipal building in the city yesterday.

Craddock, who was a Department of Public Utilities employee, shot and killed his victims on all three floors of the building,.

Craddock later engaged in a firefight with the cops with guns he bought legally, and with shot and killed during the exchange of gunfire.

Pharrell issued a statement supporting the local residents through their trying time.

"We are praying for our city, the lives that were lost, their families and everyone affected. We are resilient. We will not only get through this but we’ll come out of this stronger than before we always do."

The super producer's frequent collaborator, Pusha T also had some words of encouragement for the city residents.

"Sending my prayers and love to the city of Virginia Beach, condolences to all of the families who lost loved ones...I’m so sorry."
