(AllHipHop News) Pop singer Pink is extremely pleased with the outcome of her recording session with Eminem, which resulted in their collaborative song "Revenge."
But getting the track done for her Beautiful Trauma album was a nerve-racking endeavor for Pink, who admitted that she had to get drunk to get up the gall to email Eminem.
In an interview with EW.com, Pink explained in detail how their track "Revenge" came about via an email.
"This is why they call it liquid courage. And I said, ‘You know I love you," Pink wrote in an email to Eminem. "I like that you work with a lot of the same people, like Rihanna. She’s hotter than me, but I’m funnier. So I’m going for a rap Grammy, and I’d like to take you along with me.’"
Eminem may be a master of words when it comes to his lyrics, but he was a man of little words when he was dealing with Pink to make their song.
"It was this long email, and he wrote back right away and just said, ‘Okay.'"
Even though the pair collaborated for on the hit record "Won’t Back Down" from his 2010 album Recovery, Pink said Eminem didn't have much to say to her after the collaboration for "Revenge" either.
“I emailed him again, I was like, ‘This is the best thing I’ve ever heard! I want to tackle you and rub your face in the dirt!'
"His response? “He just wrote back and was like, ‘Okay.'”
