Police In Maryland Collar Suspect For Murder Of Tre Da Kid

A man is in custody for murdering a beloved rapper from Maryland.

(AllHipHop News) Investigators in Annapolis Maryland have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of Tre Da Kid.

The rapper, real name Edward Montre Seay, was gunned down in the middle of an intersection near his residence in the city.

Police found the 32-year-old's body on June 7th, when they responded to reports of a car crash.

When they arrived, police found the dead rapper's bullet-ridden body inside of the car.

A 30-year-old Baltimore man named James Esau Davis III has been charged with first-degree murder in relation to the slaying.

According to reports, Davis is being held without bond.

Tre Da Kid became famous in 2016 after taking the top slot in Verizon’s #Freestyle50 rap contest, which landed him a deal with 300 Entertainment.
