Police paid Mystikal a little visit right before Halloween as a part of a sex offender compliance check meant to protect kids during the sugar-feast called trick-or-treating.
The rapper has been a part of routine checks due to a 2004 conviction of sexual battery but he made clear to a local news WBRZ that he had some differences from others.
"I have the same fears that most parents have, I don't have an offense against no young kids, or nothing like that, which don't make my offense no better, but still, protect your kids man, protect your kids, our kids are the most important thing we have," said Mystikal.
Other sexual offenders checked had hardcore offenses against kids and were barred from giving out candy and wearing masks as well.
The 44 year-old served several years in jail and will be listed as a sex offender for the rest of his life. He doesn’t let the routine get him down.
"I don't do the pity party thing, I have to participate in sex offender groups and stuff like that, it don't stop your life man," said Mystikal.
