(AllHipHop News) Monday night was the end of Drake’s OVO Fest, but it was Kanye West that offered the big news of the evening.
The Chicago native suggested that he and his Canadian counterpart would be working on a project together.
“Is y’all ready for this album?” Kanye asked the crowd. “I wasn’t talking about Pablo. I wasn’t talking about VIEWS. I wanna ask y’all right now: Are y’all ready for this album?” After the questions, Kanye pointed to Drake and then Drake responded non-verbally. Drake had already previously mentioned that he and Kanye were working on a mixtape together.
2 Chainz revealed a text conversation on Instagram suggesting there was new music from Drake and himself. The collaboration is expected to appear on 2 Chainz’s Daniel Son the Necklace Don this Friday.
