(AllHipHop News) Grammy Award-winning songwriters/producers Play-N-Skillz are setting their sights on dominating the Latin music market with a new business venture.
The brothers, born Juan "Play" and Oscar "Skillz" Salinas, have produced hits for Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Flo Rida, Steve Aoki, Elvis Crespo, Pitbull, David Guetta.
The siblings are also responsible for the biggest global Latin hit of 2019 with "Con Calma” by Daddy Yankee featuring Canadian vet, Snow.
The brothers recently inked an agreement to act as Creative Directors for CTM Latin Publishing, a new global indie music publisher,
"With our decade long multi-genre string of hits, our ears are not only trained but proven to hear the next big thing and sound," the brothers said in a joint statement. "From DJing small hole in the wall clubs to playing the biggest festivals in the world for the last 15 years, we are confident that we will be the future of worldwide songwriting, producing and now publishing!”
In addition to working with industry veteran Steve Lobel to identify and sign new talent, the brothers will help CTM open new offices around the world this year.
