(AllHipHop News) This is the ultimate revenge.
Apparently, Sheck Wes didn’t like the music video done by Ridge Productions for his song “Gmail,” and failed to pay them.
The production company has now retaliated by releasing their own video… poking fun at the “Mo Bamba” rapper.
Pat Ridge of Ridge Productions took to his own Instagram to post a clip of the new video with the caption, explaining the situation.
“They blocked our video cause of the song so we made our own song. #sheckwes #iloveyousheck #ceaseanddissist #ridgeproduction,” Ridge wrote.
“So, we got a cease and desist from Universal and Sheck was DMing me last night,” Pat Ridge continued. “If he would have just asked me nicely and been like, ‘Oh, you guys didn’t get paid? Let me figure that out,’ I would have just taken the video down. But we recorded our own version.”
The video hit over 1M views in less than 48 hours.
