(AllHipHop News) Just when it appeared that the Drake vs Pusha T lyrical battle was about to enter the next round, Drizzy's mentor J. Prince stepped in to shut down the situation. The Rap-A-Lot Records founder claimed Drake had a response to Pusha's "The Story of Adidon" that would supposedly end the careers of Pusha T and Kanye West.
Push was a guest on a new episode of N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs. The G.O.O.D. Music president was asked about Prince's assertion that he told Drake not to fire back because things would likely go beyond just music at that point.
"I feel like there's absolutely nothing that they would do for my best interest, nothing. For no reason at all would they look out for me," stated Pusha. "Whatever their decision is or decision making is, it's based off of what's best for them. I don't know what ends my career. I ain't never told on nobody. I am who I am. I don't even know what's career-ending these days. Whatever it is, I ain't done it."
According to the Virginia spitter, when his management spoke to Prince, the southern Hip Hop pioneer didn't mention anything about a scathing diss track. Pusha added, "The narrative about 'career ending,' that's all after. I don't know about that during the conversation."
