Pusha T Helps Launch New Hip Hop App Heir

"In a world filled with musical opinions, why not find out what yours is worth?"

(AllHipHop News) Pusha T is known for crafting vivid street tales in his raps. Now the Daytona album creator is ready to display his appreciation for Hip Hop music in the digital space.

According to reports, King Push is teaming with tech entrepreneur Summer Watson to launch the new Heir app. Users will be able to vote Hip Hop tracks up or down in an attempt to gain a digital currency known as Crown.

A website for the company describes the Crown concept:

Heir rewards are powered by a digital currency, “Crown.” Win or lose Crown with your votes. Save up your Crown and cash out to real money, or for rewards that money-can’t-buy. Fans, use Crown for early or exclusive access to an artist’s next tour stop or track release. Emerging artists, use Crown to buy the attention of a tastemaker or another artist, get their feedback on a track — and kick off a dialogue if they like it. Crown powers a supply of rewards limited only by the heir community’s collective imagination.

Def Jam Records A&R executive Steven Victor and Epic Records A&R executive Joey Arbagey are serving as advisers for Heir. Artist manager Summer Watson, designer Max Batt, and engineer Lynette Perkins are attached to the app as well.
