Quavo Responds To Online Petition Requesting He Remake The National Anthem

The Migos member wants the world to know it's now "Huncho for president. You dig?"

(AllHipHop News) A Change.org petition is requesting Donald Trump and the United States government allow Migos member Quavo to recreate "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Sean Gray of Eminence, Kentucky wrote on the website, "It's the current year, 2017, and I think the nation should get with the times and feature Quavo on the National Anthem. He's a feature on everything else, so why not?"

As of press time, over 7600 people have signed the petition. TMZ asked Quavo for his response to Gray's appeal.

"There’s just a lot going on behind the national anthem. I would love to do it, but I wanna do like a 2017 national anthem for both people and all races, put it together” replied Quavo. “Something that's representing now. Something that's representing the modern-day national anthem. So I think if I got with some good musicians and just write something that’s very strong and powerful.”

The "I'm The One" performer added, “I'm the Huncho. When you’re the huncho, you're the boss. You gotta stand on whatever the people want you to do. Huncho for president. You dig?”
