Jimmy Kimmel also blasts the nation's "so-called leaders" for not passing gun control legislation.

(AllHipHop News) In the wake of the deadliest mass shooting in American history, some citizens are discussing the need for more gun control. The lobbying efforts of the National Rifle Association are part of the reason why Congress does not pass any new firearm legislation.

As of press time, the NRA has not commented on the Las Vegas massacre that left at least 59 people dead and over 500 people injured. While the gun rights organization remains silent, many celebrities have voiced their opinions about the deadly incident.

Questlove used his Twitter page to list politicians that received campaign donations from the NRA. Senator Roy Blunt, Representative Barbara Comstock, Representative Mike Coffman, Senator Chuck Grassley, Representative Will Hurd, Senator Rand Paul, Representative Bruce Poliquin, and Senator Rob Portman were called out by The Roots drummer.

Jimmy Kimmel also spent time on his show last night to address the tragic loss of life in Vegas. The Live! host then questioned why the nation's "so-called leaders" continue to allow mass shootings to happen, and he slammed lawmakers for not acting "because the NRA has their balls in a money clip."
