R. Kelly Dropped From Sony Women's Rights Organizations Celebrate

R. Kelly's career continues to implode.

(AllHipHop News) R&B star R. Kelly will be looking for a new record label to call home.

According to reports, Sony Music has dropped R. Kelly in the wake of the documentary series, "Surviving R. Kelly."

"Surviving R. Kelly" exposed a number of alleged sex crimes allegedly committed by the singer, who is accused of running a secret sex cult, as well as brainwashing and abusing women.

The decision to leave Sony was amicable according to sources.

The label was the subject of protests on both coasts in the wake of the docu-series and tens of thousands of fans signed petitions calling on the label to drop the singer.

Representatives of Color Of Change labeled Sony's decision a huge victory and their ongoing fight against R. Kelly.

"After years of pressure from COC, our members, & allies, @RCARecords finally dropped #RKelly! This is a huge step in our fight to #ProtectBlackWomen, & a reflection of our power to hold corps like #RCA accountable for enabling sexual predators," a Color Of Change rep said in a statement.
