R. Kelly: I Gave Y'all 30 Years Of My F*cking Career & Y'all Trying To Kill Me!

The accused abuser has a meltdown on TV.

(AllHipHop News) R. Kelly will likely be a trending topic for most of Wednesday. The R&B singer sat down with Gayle King for CBS This Morning to talk about the three decades worth of sexual and physical abuse accusations against him. At one point during the conversation, Kelly stood up and began yelling.

“Stop it. You all quit playing! Quit playing! I didn't do this stuff! This is not me! I'm fighting for my f*cking life! Y'all killing me with this sh*t!" screamed Kelly. "I gave you thirty years of my f*cking career!" Thirty years of my career and y'all trying to kill me!"

The man born Robert Sylvester Kelly went on to say, "This is not about music! I'm trying to have a relationship with my kids and I can't do it! Y'all just don't want to believe the truth! You don't want to believe it!"

Allegations against the "Bump n' Grind" performer were brought back into the public consciousness after the airing of Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly in January. The docuseries featured over 50 individuals - including Kelly's family members, alleged victims, and cultural critics - speaking about the vocalist's years of supposed misconduct. As a result of the widely publicized program, the #MuteRKelly campaign led to the artist getting dropped from RCA Records/Sony Music.

Kelly was recently arrested and charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. Prosecutors claim the crimes occurred between 1998 and 2010 with minors between the ages of 13 and 16. The musician was released from a Cook County jail on $1 million bond. Kelly maintains he is innocent.
