(AllHipHop News) R. Kelly appeared in a Chicago courtroom today to plead not guilty to 11 new felony charges surrounding his alleged sexual relationships with multiple underage girls.
The new charges stem from a relationship he supposedly had with a teen back in 2010.
The latest charges include four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and two counts of criminal sexual assault by force, two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, and three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against a victim between the ages of 13 to 16.
The singer's attorney Stephen Greenberg was confident R. Kelly will beat the new wave of charges, even though his client is looking at 30 years in prison.
"These are the same conduct, just charged differently, same alleged victim, same time frame, same facts,” Greenberg said. “We expect the same result.”
R. Kelly is facing 21 felonies in total, including his other sexual assault case where he is currently free on $1 million.
