R. Kelly Pleads Not Guilty To Sexually Abusing Teens; Cannot Come Up With Bail

Singer R. Kelly was in court today, but he could not post his bail.

(AllHipHop News) R. Kelly appeared in court today, where he could not post the $100,000 needed to be released from the Chicago jail.

R. Kelly has been locked up since Friday evening when he surrendered to face 10 felony counts of sex abuse of several teenagers and another woman.

Today, R. Kelly appeared in court and faced Judge Lawrence Flood, where he entered into the not guilty plea.

R. Kelly is being charged for the incidents, which allegedly took place between 1998 and 2010.

Three of the alleged victims were underage at the time of the reported encounters, while a force claims R. Kelly forced her to have non-consensual sex and ejaculated on her without permission.

In a previous statement, R. Kelly's lawyer Steve Greenberg adamantly denied the charges against his client.

He branded each one of his accusers as liars who are simply seeking publicity, and a check in the wake of the "Surviving R. Kelly" docu-series which aired on Lifetime.

R. Kelly will remained locked up until he comes up with $100,000 or the 10% of his bail. The singer's lawyer Stephen Greenberg said his client's finances were "a mess."
