R. Kelly's Concert In Germany Canceled After Sexual Abuse Charges In Chicago

There's more bad news for the self-described "Pied Piper of R&B."

(AllHipHop News) Besides facing 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse, R. Kelly has now lost a performing gig in Germany. Representatives of Neu-Ulm's Ratiopharm Arena announced the cancellation on Facebook.

The venue posted:

Over the past 3 days, new charges have been published in the media regarding allegations raised against R. Kelly and verified by us in the meantime. In view of these new and objective facts, we have decided to release ourselves from the contract concluded for the 12.04.2019 for good cause. Regarding tickets purchased for the event, we kindly ask the fans, whose understandable disappointment we regret, to contact the tour operator where the tickets were purchased.

Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly docuseries brought international awareness to the three-decades of sexual misconduct and pedophilia accusations against Robert Kelly. The recent arrest is reportedly connected to a newly discovered videotape that supposedly shows Kelly engaging in sexual acts with an underage girl. Prosecutors claim there are four victims in the case and three of those individuals were underage at the time of the alleged incidents.

The abuse allegedly occurred between 1998 and 2010 with minors between the ages of 13 and 16. The veteran R&B singer was released from a Cook County jail on $1 million bond. His legal team maintains their client is innocent of all charges. Kelly was found not guilty of child pornography in 2008.
