Rae Sremmurd scored the first hip-hop top 10 debut of 2015. Their debut album, SremmLife, has debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart, coming in behind J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive (no. 3) and Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint (no. 4).
With streaming and traditional sales combined, SremmLife sold 49,000, with 33,000 of that being regular album sales for the first week. The album, which was mainly produced by the duo's mentor Mike WiLL Made It, features Nicki Minaj, Young Thug, Big Sean and Jace of Two-9.
