(AllHipHop News) “I took another route. I’m a young, black man from Chicago who decided to stop the cycle,” said Ramsay in an Instagram video. “Maybe this next generation will look at me like, ‘Damn, we ain’t gotta go shoot back. We can stop the cycle right here.'”
The producer’s decision to involve law enforcement led to Keef fans blasting him online.
“If y’all don’t get what I’m doing, then y’all not looking out for y’all community. Y’all don’t even understand,” added Ramsay. “Half the people commenting saying I’m a rat, I’m a snitch, I broke the code – y’all lost in the system. Y’all lost.”
In a separate video, Ramsay connected his situation with the Black Lives Matter movement.
“I think black lives matter. That’s why I took the route that I took,” he stated. “I hope I can set an example for some of you other motherf-ckers who got y’all mind f-cked up.”
