Rapper Killer Mike Joins Atlanta Art Museum Board

Killer Mike has new job as an art museum.

(AllHipHop News) Run The Jewels star Killer Mike has been appointed to the board of directors at the High Museum of Art in his native Atlanta, Georgia.

Mike, real name Michael Render, is one of four new faces appointed to the 85-member panel, alongside others including Interscope Records Vice President Keinon Johnson.

"We're thrilled to add these community leaders to our board," museum director Rand Suffolk shared in a statement. "Together they'll bring extraordinary new perspectives, voices and talents to bear on our mission."

Killer Mike, who will serve a three-year term on the board, plans to help officials expand the High Museum's appeal to different demographics.

"I'm looking forward to seeing more people from my part of town, people who look like me, at the High," he said. "I think you will see the High Museum in a rap video very soon."
