Rappers Give Back And Take Care Of Biz For Easter Holiday

Several notable rap stars were busy over the Easter holiday weekend, taking care of the community and handling their business. 

A variety of rappers celebrated the Easter holiday by chilling with friends and family or taking care of business.

On Saturday, Jeezy’s Street Dreamz Foundation teamed up with Tony Robbins to give out hundreds of bikes to inner-city children in Atlanta.

Chance the Rapper made the holiday special, by giving away free groceries to those in need, in his hometown of Chicago. Chance’s non-profit, Social Works, provided dinner hams, mashed potatoes, pasta, and rice to the local community.

Hardcore rapper 50 Cent took some time away from directing the upcoming highly anticipated B.M.F. series to kick it with his son Sire. Fif posted an adorable picture of him and his son, deviling some eggs along with a nice message to his fans.

Fat Joe celebrated the holiday on a massive yacht, surrounded by the bluest of waters while sipping on CIROC’s new flavored vodka, Summer Citrus.

Fellow Terror Squad member DJ Khaled sent some praises up to God on Easter Sunday – while revealing his highly anticipated new album Khaled Khaled is finished. The superstar producer sent a note of gratitude to his family and team for supporting him as he prepares to release his new album.

Griselda rapper Westside Gunn and Mach-Hommy dropped some brand new music with their new single “EasterGunn Day 4 Freestyle.” 

The 9-minute long track has Westside Gunn and Mach-Hommy talking their s### over the RZA’s “Hollow Bones” instrumental. Westside Gunn also revealed that Mach-Hommy’s Pray For Haiti project is imminent.

Not to be outdone, Florida rapper Kodak Black also came through with a brand new track, properly titled “Easter in Miami.”

R&B superstar Chris Brown gave his fans an Easter treat when he promised to deliver some brand new music soon. 

“If yall don’t hear from me, that doesn’t mean I’m not doing anything… The s### I got coming for yall is f###### 🔥 Just a reminder to smile and settle your thoughts today. We gon tap into that frequency…manifest your positivity,” Brown told his 78 million followers on Instagram this morning. 

The biggest flex for Easter Sunday will come courtesy of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland.

Later on tonight, the Isley Brothers will take on Earth Wind and Fire in one of the most highly anticipated battles in their critically acclaimed Verzuz series.

Steve Harvey will host the epic face-off between the two legendary groups, which will kick off at 8:00 p.m. on Triller and the @verzuztv Instagram account.
