(AllHipHop News) Love him or hate him, Ray J has built a twenty-year career in the entertainment industry. TV One is set to recap Ray's life - which includes the highly-publicized sex tape with well-known socialite Kim Kardashian - in the biographical series Unsung Hollywood.
The 37-year-old born William Ray Norwood went from being viewed as "Brandy's brother" to being a music/television star in his own right. His discography includes the Top 40 hits "Let It Go," "One Wish," "Wait a Minute" featuring Lil Kim, and "Sexy Can I" featuring Yung Berg.
Additionally, Ray J showed off his acting chops on The Sinbad Show and Moesha. He later hit his stride by going the reality TV route with For the Love of Ray J and Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.
"This is what I do. I’ve created a brand around reality TV from day 1 when it first started. From there, I’ve capitalized off creating great relationships," Ray told AllHipHop in 2016. "My production company - we’re nonstop. I feel good. I like having multiple things going on, and I have a strong team that makes sure we juggle it all the right way."
Unsung Hollywood is airing on Sunday, October 14 at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT. The Ray J mini-doc will be followed by an Uncensored episode focusing on fellow R&B vocalist and LHHH cast member Kimberly "K. Michelle" Pate.
