(AllHipHop News) Red Bull Culture Clash is heading to Atlanta this August for a highly anticipated battle featuring four music crews.
EarDrummers with Mike WiLL Made-It, Enjoylife with Wondagurl, Disturbing London with Tinie Tempah, and Unruly with Popcaan will all vie for the crown.
Culture Clash consists of four distinct rounds – TEMPERATURE’S RISING, THE SELECTOR, SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY, and THE DECIDER.
Fans can expect to hear creative offerings consisting of exclusive music, special guests, mockeries, diss records, and more.
The crews will compete head-to-head at the battleground, but they are not allowed to play a record already used that evening unless the record is explicitly announced as a counteraction and somehow altered.
EarDrummers will represent the hometown at Culture Clash Atlanta.
The Enjoylife collective will bring a Canadian style, while Disturbing London is likely to incorporate Nigerian flavors into their presentation.
Jamaica’s Unruly will compete in the Georgia capital after being part of the winning Culture Clash UK team.
Red Bull Culture Clash debuted during the 2010 Red Bull Music Academy in London.
Culture Clashes have since taken place in South Africa, Italy, Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, San Francisco, and other global locales.
A$AP Mob, Major Lazer, Wiz Khalifa & Taylor Gang, Just Blaze & Young Guru, and the 2016 UK winner Mixpak have taken part in previous editions.
Philly-born, ATL-based radio personality/music executive DJ Drama will serve as the host for this year’s event in Atlanta.
Red Bull Culture Clash Atlanta is scheduled for Friday, August 25.
